BayVAN has a rippling effect!
We are pleased to announce that BayVAN along with our friends Matt & Leyna at the Compound Gallery won the Ripple Effect Oakland Indie Award for our collaborative efforts around the creation of Plaid Friday!About Plaid Friday: The name Plaid Friday celebrates the diversity and creativity of Bay Area independent businesses. Envisioned to be the independent business alternative to the big box store “Black Friday”, Plaid Friday is designed to help raise awareness about shopping local and supporting the local economy.
About the Ripple Effect Award: supports other local businesses and artists by “shopping local” for their supplies and services, creating an economic ripple effect as money circulates within the community.
