Left Coast Annual Awards Announced
Four artists received awards at Sanchez Art Center’s 2012 Left Coast Annual, juried by Michael Schwager of Sonoma State University. Michael Acker was awarded the Juror’s Exhibition Award, receiving $250 plus an exhibition in 2013. Over 500 pieces were submitted to the juror, who selected 55 for this exhibit.
Edith Hillinger is featured in the May 2012 issue of WORKS & CONVERSATIONS. The issue features a portfolio of her new collages/mixed media works.
Anne Ross has an entry Olive Grove in the Fine Art Exhibit of Alternative Photography Process. Fair Dates are July 12-29. Located at 1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815. Fair website for more info.
Kimberly Rowe was recently awarded a residency at the Vermont Studio Center for September, 2013.
Lena Wolff was awarded and Artist-in-Residence at Kala Art Institute for the spring/summer 2012.
